Common Procedures

FAI and Hip Impingement

FemoroAcetabular Impingement (FAI) and Hip Preservation. Treated arthroscopically through small incisions with repair of the labrum and shaping the hip to a normal form for pain relief and preservation of function.

Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL)

Reconstruction and Repair. The anterior cruciate ligament or ACL is typically reconstructed with a graft although in certain cases repair of the ligament can be performed.  Both procedures restore stability and function to the knee.

Hip Labral Repair

Hip Labral Repair is done arthroscopically with small incisions, quicker recovery, and reliable healing.

Meniscal Repair

The meniscus is the shock absorber we have in our knees. Meniscal injuries are best addressed arthroscopically through either repair of the tissue or partial meniscectomy (debridement) depending on the patient and pathology.

Patella Instability

Recurrent dislocation/subluxations of the patella need to be addressed to restore stability and prevent chronic issues such as arthritis. Treatment options are medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) reconstruction and/or Tibial Tubercle Osteotomy.

Cartilage Restoration

Cartilage defects can be treated with various techniques depending on the patient and pathology. Among the most common options are MACI and OATs.

Rotator Cuff Repair

The Rotator Cuff allows us to raise our arms over our head. Tears cause pain and over time they begin to affect our function. Repairs of the rotator cuff are done arthroscopically and allow for return of function and pain relief.
